The Special Prosecutor's Office filed a claim against the former mayor of Lushnje, Fatos Tushe, regarding the charge of not declaring assets. SPAK demanded Tushe's sentence of 1 year and 5 months in prison, but due to the shortened trial, he would benefit from the reduction of the sentence by 1/3.

Only a few months after serving the sentence of 3 years and 4 months in prison for abuse of office and violation of equality in tenders, Fatos Tushes started another investigation related to wealth. It is about an apartment on the coast which he has not declared.

The former socialist mayor was sentenced in July 2022 to 2 years and 4 months in prison for abuse of office by the Special Court of the First Instance, only for abuse of office, while the crime of violating equality in tenders fell, while SPAK demanded his punishment with 5 years.

In March of last year, the Special Appeal increased Fatos Tushe's sentence by 1 year when the latter had just left the cell after serving his sentence. He returns to prison to complete the remainder, this time for the criminal offense of Violation of equality in tenders.
