“ANK Ltd.”

The company " ANK shpk ", which is working on the construction of the road segment, part of Corridor 8, has started works to demolish the dangerous part in the area known as " Dragostunja Bends ", on the national axis Librazhd-Prrenjas , following the situation created by the rock slide that led to traffic blockage.

The intervention of the  ANK company's excavators has begun throwing massive amounts of stones and soil onto the road, while the southeast-bound axis remains blocked due to today's collapse.

Kilometer-long queues of vehicles have formed in both directions, according to reports they have traveled over 20 kilometers.

Even during the road clearing operation, other collapses were recorded, making the work of vehicles more difficult and extending the unblocking time.

Travelers are left waiting for the road to open, while traffic is paralyzed.

The contracting firm has announced that work will continue at a rapid pace and it is hoped that the road will be opened to traffic around 6:00 PM.
