75 workers from Nepal will soon arrive at Donika Mici's company, which has been focused on shoe production for 30 years.

"Nepal because we thought it was an unvisited country still good. We preferred to reach the age of 45. I tried to take couples, they should be young husband and wife, because I think they can create a life in Albania." she says.

They will be paid the same as Albanian workers and good conditions are being created for them so that they do not leave Albania for other European countries.

"There is a big risk of leaving, but that should not scare us. We have created all the best possible conditions for them."

The entrepreneur, Donika Mici, says she needs at least 1,000 workers. While before they aimed at qualified people, now they also accept people without experience or at an advanced age.

"We need labor force, which is migrating naturally. Even for 60-year-olds, we offer a job. Two years ago, it would not have occurred to us to hire a person over 50. Today, we need hands, people who have two legs and two hands who come to work. The employee for us has become the most golden thing that can exist". she tells Ora News

If the experience with the workers from Nepal turns out to be positive, Mici says that he will also get the other people he needs from there. But it requires facilities from the government.

"Bureaucracy, individual contracts, endless paperwork from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, approval must be obtained. There is an enormous amount of bureaucracy. What I noticed recently is the individual contract. Making 72 individual contracts with people who are very far from Albania was very difficult. Visa liberalization should be seen with all these countries so that we have workforce."

Recently, almost all businesses, from bars and small shops, restaurants to large companies, are in crisis for finding workers.
