Analyst Kreshnik Spahiu commented today on "Top Story" on Donald Trump's rhetoric in his first speech today as the 47th president of the United States of America.
Spahiu said that Trump will deport hundreds of Albanians waiting to receive a 'green card' and will be forced to be separated from their families.
"I have some questions related to Trump's political discourse and his speech today. No one can predict Trump's foreign policy but I would like to make a few points. First, I share a regret with those hundreds of Albanians who will be subject to deportation from the US. I am with those hundreds of Albanians who will be forced to be separated from their families while awaiting documents.
"I listened with interest that he mentioned the planet Mars but not the continent Europe. He seeks a new world order where we risk that even Europe will not enter his priority agenda. Trump's second mandate is legitimizing the discourse on border correction," Spahiu said, among other things.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump kept his campaign promise and the first executive order he signed after being sworn in as president was against illegal immigrants.
With several of his aides at his side, including Vice President JD Vance, Trump signed 7 other orders, including the US withdrawal from the Paris climate agreement.
These are the eight orders that the US president signed:
1- Declared a national emergency at the southern border of the United States, labeling criminal cartels as terrorist groups. He also ended birthright citizenship for children born to immigrant parents without legal status.
2- Reinstate the “Remain in Mexico” policy, which would force some asylum seekers at the southern border to wait in Mexico for their hearings in U.S. immigration court. This would allow the U.S. military to complete the border wall and the Secretary of Defense to deploy members of the military and National Guard to the border.
3- Trump signed an executive action declaring that it is the policy of the United States to recognize two biologically distinct genders: male and female. “These are genders that are immutable and rooted in a fundamental and unchallengeable reality.” The change will require government agencies to use the definitions on documents such as passports, visas and employee records.
4- Diversity, equality and inclusion programs were ended.
5- Declared a national energy emergency, aimed at reducing bureaucracy and regulations for the energy sector, and a second emergency specifically for Alaska's resources. The national energy emergency will allow production of coal and natural resources.
6- Decided to loosen regulations for fossil fuel cars and repeal them for electric vehicles.
7 – The United States withdrew from the Paris climate agreement, which was also communicated by the White House.
8- Signed a presidential memorandum on inflation.
