A 23-year-old man was handcuffed by police in Tirana after allegedly distributing narcotics near schools.

Police say the arrest of the 23-year-old was carried out as part of the nationwide operation , "Temple" with more than 100 arrested.

"During the search, police services found a quantity of suspected narcotic cannabis in a dose, for sale, to the 23-year-old. The narcotics were seized in the quality of material evidence", police said.

"The police megaoperation codenamed "Tempulli" follows, for the crackdown on criminal activities of distribution of narcotics, near schools.

A case of drug distribution near schools is identified and struck, caught and handcuffed by a 23-year-old.

A quantity of cannabis sativa is sequestrated into doses ready for sale.

Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section, following the intensive operational actions carried out within the national police megaoperation, antidrug, codenamed "Tempulli", after providing information that in the vicinity of some schools in Lapraka, a citizen was selling narcotics, organized the work for his capture and placing him before legal responsibility.

As a result, on the street "Gjergj Legisi", was caught and arrested in flagrant form the citizen F.B., 23, resident in Tirana.

During the search, police services found a quantity of suspected cannabis narcotics, divided into doses, ready for sale. The narcotics were seized in the quality of the material proof.

From the verifications carried out it has resulted that this citizen, after providing cannabis narcotics, divided it into doses, which he then sold near schools, in the Lapraka area.

The materials were passed to the Prosecution office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for further proceduralate actions", the police said.
