A Turkish citizen and a Chinese citizen have been detained when they enter our country because they have not declared money at the border.

Police say that in two different cases in Rinas, a Turkish citizen was seized 17,11 euros, while the Chinese national was caught with 2,<> euros and about $<>,<>.

Police announcement:

Increased controls for prevention, identification and prevention of border crimes.

As a result of the checks, 2 cases of non-disclosure of cash are hit at the border. They are seized in total 28,840 euros and $1900.

The 36-year-old (Turkish citizen) who did not declare 17,020 euros at the entrance of the RSH is criminally prosecuted.

The 50-year-old (Chinese citizen) who did not declare 11,820 euros and $1900 in exit from the RSH is criminally prosecuted.

Rinas Border Police Services, following the controls for prevention, identification and prevention of cross-border crimes, based on risk analysis, have crossed the line for more detailed control, citizens D.C. and L.D.

During the entry checks of the RSH, turkish citizen D.C., 36, was found 17,020 euros, which he had not declared at the border, according to legal definitions.

Also, on the outgoing of the RSH, L.D., 50, was found 11,820 euros and $1900, which he had not declared at the border, according to the legal provisions in force.

The sums of money were seized in the quality of the material proof.

Following the actions, the proceedings were launched in a free state for citizens D.C., 36 and L.D., 50, for the criminal offense "Non-disclosure at the border of money and valuables".

The procedurale materials were passed to the Prosecution office at the Court of first instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for further action.
