The condition of the Technical Control Center in Durrës

The photos below show the state inherited after 11 years by SGS, until May 2021, of the Technical Control Center, in the Regional Directorate of Road Transport Services in Durrës.

In this district with the municipalities of Durrës, Krujë, Shijak, Kavajë, there are 98,020 active road vehicles, and it ranks second in the country.

As can be seen from the photos below, the condition of the Technical Control Center in Durrës has been deplorable both from the inside of the building and from the outside. It is worth emphasizing the fact that Drini Kryemadhi, Monika Kryemadhi's brother, and Ilir Meta's brother-in-law, also appeared as an engineer at the SGS concessionaire.

Within the spring of 2023, the General Directorate of Road Transport Services, in agreement with the Durrës Municipality, will start with the surrounding urban retraining, solving parking and more comfortable access for citizens. 

The project addresses the importance of the Regional Directorate of Road Transport Services in Durrës, which performed 357,327 physical services during 2021, and serves 139,679 road vehicle drivers.

The expansion with a new test line and outdoor space for 95 additional parking spaces, shading, seating, sidewalks and pedestrian areas, roads, lighting and greenery, on an area of ​​about 7,500 m2, is foreseen. 

This investment will also be financed 100% with self-financing revenues, which have been the result of tireless work for financial recovery, thanks to the good administration 2019-2022 as well as the strengthening of the Albanian automotive industry.
