The State Police has adopted a plan of measures for the smooth running of the tourist season.
For this reason, from June 16 to September 15, the circulation of heavy goods vehicles will be restricted on weekends and official holidays.
The blue uniform plan aims to ensure security in tourist areas, facilitate border traffic, and prevent road accidents and criminal activities.
"Unlike last year, this year the 12-hour service will only be applied in coastal areas. Additional services will be sent to assist local police, which will be compensated according to the relevant legislation," the police announced.
In line with the blue uniform measures, there will be patrols by employees on bicycles on the beaches. The maritime police will also continue to monitor and punish dangerous navigation within prohibited areas.
To identify violations, the police will use drones, as well as intelligent devices and alcohol testers for road safety.
"At the same time, patrols have been increased in tourist areas to prevent road accidents and guarantee the free movement of vehicles," the police announced.
The police say they will cooperate with tourist agencies to equip boats with appropriate documentation and implement navigation rules, local government, beach watchers, civil and health emergencies, and fire services.
There will also be strict control over the implementation of music schedules and the punishment of noise level violators.
"Police officers have now been equipped with noise measurement devices," the police announced.
