The road segment "Bogë - Qafë Thore - Theth" will remain blocked overnight due to the high risk of avalanches, as a result of deteriorating weather conditions.

"Based on the risk analysis and after communication with the engineers of the road maintenance contractor, on the 'Bogë - Qafë Thore - Theth' road segment, due to the risk of avalanches as a result of deteriorating weather conditions, vehicle traffic will not be allowed at night, as the risk is high, also due to limited visibility. This road segment will be blocked until morning," a statement from the State Police said.

It is further clarified that the passage of vehicles will only be allowed in cases of emergency and always accompanied by snow removal vehicles and police services.

The police appeal to drivers to respect the instructions of the services in the field and for any need or emergency to contact the number "112".
