A 46-year-old Turkish man has been arrested by police in Kamëz for owning a warehouse where smuggled clothing with fake logos was printed.
Another 50-year-old Turkish citizen has also been declared wanted, while 3 employees have been released on bail.
The warehouse contained goods that were suspected of evading customs duties, as well as machinery for counterfeiting and printing logos that were placed on various clothing and shoes.

The police operation codenamed "Brands 2" is being finalized by the Economic and Financial Crime Investigation Sector in the Directorate for Economic and Financial Crime Investigation at the DPSSh, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Tirana.
A warehouse was discovered in Kamëz where smuggled clothing with fake logos was printed.
1 Turkish citizen is arrested, 1 other Turkish citizen is wanted, and 3 employees are being processed at large.
Large quantities of clothing/shoes, laser, printing or stamping machines, stamps/logos of well-known international brands, 1 mobile phone, as well as other items/documents that will serve the investigation are seized.
As a result of the administration of information obtained that smuggled clothing was being stored in Kamëz, which was marked with fake logos of well-known international brands, the Economic and Financial Crime Investigation Sector, with the support of Police Commissariat No. 5 and the “Eagle” Special Force, organized and finalized the “Brands 2” operation.
During the operation, Turkish citizen Ozkan Sulun, 46 years old, was arrested, Turkish citizen Mehmet Karçiga , 50 years old, was declared wanted, and the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated in a free state, for citizens L. M, Sh. M and Sh. B, employees of this warehouse.
During the intervention, the Police services found that the warehouse contained goods that were suspected of having evaded customs duties, as well as machinery for counterfeiting and printing logos that were placed on various clothing and shoes.
Efforts are underway to locate and capture the 50-year-old man who is wanted.
The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, for further action, for the criminal offenses "Violation of industrial property rights", "Illegal employment", "Smuggling of other goods", "Trading and transporting contraband goods", "Storage or storage of contraband goods", "Hiding income", "Forgery of seals, stamps or forms".
