In the court session against Plarent Dervishaj and Julian Meçe, accused of the assassination of former prosecutor Arjan Ndoja, Aleksandër Laho and Andi Maloku, Beqir Boja, member of the blood reconciliation commission and chairman of the Zallherr Commune Council in 2019, testified.

Boja stated that he was involved in negotiations with the Rraja family, who, according to him, have denied any connection to the murder of Andi Maloku and have sworn on the Quran to this effect.

He said that Asllan Rraja asked him to negotiate with Genc Maloku's family for his son, Redian Rraja. According to his testimony, after meetings with Genc Maloku, the latter gave him three months according to "Albanian rules" to see developments and decide on revenge.

Maloku emphasized that his son was killed "innocently on the street" and asked to wait for the justice that would come from the investigations.

" In 2019 I lived in Kamëz, I was the chairman of the Zallherr commune council. I am involved with the blood reconciliation commission. Asllan Rraja asked me to negotiate with the family of Genc Maloku. He asked me to negotiate for his son Redian Rraja. I asked the Rraja family if they have any connection to this event, they swore on the Quran that we have no knowledge of the murder of Andi Maloku. We waited for Genc Maloku because he was not at home, I told him that Asllan Rraja's family sent us, Genc Maloku told us that according to Albanian law you have a three-month deadline to see how the whole thing goes. Then there was a second meeting, Genc emphasized that his son was killed innocently on the street. We asked him to wait until we see what justice says, since Asllan has not been able to contact the son to get information. I will continue to seek the next right. We asked him again "The 3-month deadline did not accept this time and we set it later. This was the last meeting, after that we did not meet again. I do not know the defendants in the courtroom. Genci Maloku gave us a guarantee that he would not take revenge for three months ," he testified.
