Three people have been arrested by the Durrës police on the charge of appropriating 5000 m² of a citizen's land, registering it in the mortgage as their own.

Former Durrës mortgage jurors, Artur Isaku, 60, Faik Ibrahimi, 72, and Zyber Dema, 68, have fallen into custody.

These citizens, in cooperation with each other, using forged documents, have taken about 5000 m² of land from a citizen, which they appropriated and registered in the mortgage as their own.

Specialists for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes of the Durrës Local Police Directorate, following the work to identify and combat the criminal activity of falsifying documents for the purpose of profit, based on informational intelligence, after a several-month investigation with proactive methods, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the Durrës Judicial District Court, successfully finalized the coded police operation "Return".

In the framework of this operation, it became possible to capture and execute security measures "Arrest in prison" for citizens:

AI, 60 years old, former Durrës mortgage lawyer;
ZD, 72 years old, and FI, 68 years old, resident of Durrës.

Based on the evidence provided during the proactive investigation, carried out by the specialists for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, the Court of the Judicial District of Durrës, on 15.01.2023, has set for these citizens the security measures "Arrest in prison ", for the criminal offenses "Abuse of duty" and "Forgery of documents", committed in cooperation.

These citizens, in cooperation with each other, using forged documents, have taken about 5000 m² of land from a citizen, which they appropriated and registered in the mortgage as their own.

Specialists for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes of the Durrës Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, are continuing the investigations for the documentation of other cases committed by these citizens, as well as for the identification and arrest of other persons implicated in this activity. criminal.
