Port security workers, operators, drivers... who are the 20 arrested in the port
Durres port

The lack of some crates in a container of bananas in the port of Durrës has put 20 people in handcuffs. Among them are 16 security workers at the port of Durrës, two company operators and the company's worker with the driver who were waiting for the load of bananas at the port.

They are charged with the criminal offenses of "Misuse of duty" and "Breaking, removing, replacing security signs of customs authorities" after a container loaded with bananas was found open and several crates were missing. 

The arrested persons have been identified as:

- Jurgen Gjeçi, 26 years old, resident of Durrës, by duty an employee of the Port Security Force, in the Port of Durrës;
- Armand Murataj, 21 years old, resident of Durres, on duty as an employee of the Port Security Force, in the Port of Durres.
- Gentian Halili, 49 years old, resident of Durrës, with the duty of operator of the company "Marinier" that operates in the Port of Durres;
- Azgan Zeka, 29 years old, resident of Durres, by duty an employee of the Port Security Force, in the Port of Durres;
- Skender Plaku, 52 years old, resident of Durres, on duty as an employee of the Port Security Force, in the Port of Durres;
- Adi Qevanaj, 31 years old, resident of Durrës, on duty as an employee of the Port Security Force, at the Port of Durres;
- Kastriot Ducka, 49 years old, resident of Durrës, by duty an employee of the Port Security Force, in the Port of Durrës;
- Mentor Dyrmishi, 47 years old, resident of Durrës, by duty an employee of the Port Security Force, in the Port of Durres;
- Klaudio Lala, 34 years old, resident of Durrës, by duty an employee of the Port Security Force, in the Port of Durrës;
- Shpëtim Hajdin, 58 years old, resident of Durrës, by duty an employee of the Port Security Force, in the Port of Durrës;
- Andra Xhevara, 54 years old, resident of Durrës, working as an employee of the Port Security Force, in the Port of Durrës;
- Adem Brasha, 40 years old, resident of Durrës, working as an employee of the Port Security Force, in the Port of Durrës;
- Veiz Kuçi, 32 years old, resident of Durres, on duty as an employee of the Port Security Force, in the Port of Durres;
- Rajd Bleta, 27 years old, a resident of Durres, with the duty of operator of a company that operates in the Port of Durres;
- Ali Bajrami, 54 years old, resident of Durres, by duty an employee of the Port Security Force, in the Port of Durres;
In addition, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty".

- Gjergj Doraci, 39 years old, resident of Durrës, by duty an employee of the Port Security Force, in the Port of Durres;
- Shefqet Elezi, 57 years old, resident of Shijak, Durres, on duty employee of the Port Security Force, in the Port of Durres;
- Profit Tola, 31 years old, resident of Durres, on duty as an employee of the Port Security Force, in the Port of Durres.
Following the actions, the citizens were arrested red-handed for the criminal offenses "Smuggling with other goods" and "Breaking, removing, replacing the security signs of the customs authorities" in collaboration:

- Altin Mahmutaj, 46 years old, resident of Durrës, worker in the company that was waiting for the shipment of bananas;
- Nazmi Allgjata, 46 years old, resident of Durrës, driver in the company that was waiting for the shipment of bananas.
