A disabled woman said that her lights had been cut off, and claimed that she could not survive with 90 thousand lek in aid.

She said she was in extreme poverty and was forgotten by the state, writes News24.

"I'm disabled and my lights have been cut off! I'm without electricity and where is the camel calling!"

My parents are dead, I'm all alone, I'm disabled with a 90,000 lek (old) pension.

How will I get my medicine? I don't have a washing machine, a refrigerator, nothing. I'm completely alone.

I'm disabled, should I stay without electricity?

I am very sick, I have been in bed for two weeks. My neighbors have helped me.

"What will I do with that much money?" she said tearfully during today's protest.
