The US Ambassador in Tirana, Yuri Kim, has reacted to today's protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office called by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

Asked by journalists before the activity of the American Chamber of Commerce for the 246th anniversary of the independence of the USA, Yuri Kim said that it is important to be peaceful and respect the law. 

"It is the right of all citizens to protest, the important thing is to apply the law and the protest be peaceful", Yuri Kim stated briefly.

We remind you that Sali Berisha has been declared "non grata" by the USA and that American officials have declared that they will not cooperate with the Democratic Party if he becomes its leader.
