Tirana Police have initiated proceedings in the absence of the husband of educator Rudina Gerdani, who was reported by the parent of a three-year-old boy on suspicion of raping the minor.

According to information, the 63-year-old is suspected of threatening the child's father after the complaint was filed. Meanwhile, the educator has been declared wanted by the police.

"Criminal Investigation Specialists at Police Station No. 6 proceeded to release citizen IG, 63 years old (husband of citizen R. G, wanted for allegedly abusing a minor in the kindergarten where she worked as a teacher). The proceedings began after it is suspected that this citizen threatened citizen L. Rr (the minor's father) over the phone," the police statement said.
