The weapon that Lulzim Visha's assassins used was found inside the car that they burned in the village of Zgafnor, Zall Herri.

Another firearm was found in the Porsche vehicle, while checks on the vehicle's license plates revealed that the license plates had been stolen in April 2023 in Kamëz.

The police have not yet identified the perpetrator(s) of the murder, while they are working to clarify the circumstances and legally document the event.

The incident occurred at around 07:40. The 48-year-old was shot with a barrage of bullets in the car he was driving to work. The perpetrators ambushed him 200 meters from his home and shot him, leaving him dead on the spot.

The main motive for the murder of Lulzim Visha is revenge, after his brother killed a person in 1997, but other motives for the assassination are not excluded. On April 10, 1997, Besnik Visha killed Refik Domin with a firearm, for weak motives, in an incident that took place near the Agricultural University of Tirana.
