Two young Albanians suspected of being part of the "Ndragheta" criminal network have been handcuffed by Italian police.

It is about Albanians Damian Maiolo and Tritan Leka, aged 24 and 29, who were arrested after searches were carried out at their apartments where 10,500 euros and 130 grams of cocaine were packed in doses ready for sale.

During the search, tools used to prepare cocaine and stolen objects were found, Italian media reported.

Investigations into "Ndragheta" began in early December 2022 where dozens of gang members were arrested.
