Pedestrians punished with fines

The Traffic Police in Tirana has continued to punish with fines the passers-by who block the way of vehicles by not using the white lines.

But this time, in addition to pedestrians, even users of bicycles and electric skates have not escaped the fines.

Police message to this category:

We as the Tirana Traffic Police Commissariat are committed to maintaining the safety of all road users. Recently, we have caught on camera violations of traffic rules by pedestrians, cyclists and users of electric skates.

Careful! Do not cross the road outside the pedestrian crossings. It is not only a violation of the law, but also a danger to your life and the lives of others.

Cyclists and Electric Skate Users: Please use your dedicated crosswalks. This helps keep traffic safe and orderly for everyone.

We will be firm and strict against any violation of traffic rules. Road safety is everyone's responsibility!

Share this message to make more people aware of the importance of obeying traffic rules.
