A serious incident has occurred in the city of Burrel.

A police officer at the Burreli high-security prison is suspected of shooting himself with his service weapon. He has just arrived at the Burreli hospital and according to the white shirts, his condition is critical after being shot in the head.

It is suspected that the incident took place at the police officer's apartment.

The investigation team is at the scene to determine the cause of the self-inflicted injury.

The policeman has the initials S. N, about 58 years old.


Preliminary information/Measurements

At around 07:00 this morning, in the town of Burrel, it is suspected that citizen SK, around 54 years old, a prison police officer, shot himself in the head with a pistol in his apartment. The 54-year-old was transported to the hospital for medical assistance in serious condition.

The investigative group led by the Prosecutor's Office is working to fully clarify and uncover the circumstances of this event.
