The Murder of Dodë Mamli

The suspected perpetrator of the murder of Dodë Mamli, yesterday evening in the village of Zhejë, Kurbin, was arrested today. He is Dashnor Tota.

It is suspected that Tota is the person who fired several shots at 67-year-old Dodë Mamli, who died on the spot.

The serious incident occurred yesterday evening around 6:00 PM in the village of Vilëz, Zhejë, where the victim was shot with a pistol on a village street.

After committing the murder, the perpetrator fled without leaving any trace. Although the operational services continued to search for him throughout the night, the escape was facilitated by the difficult terrain and darkness.

Initially, the investigation focused on an old feud between the victim's sons. They are suspected of participating in what was called the Mamurras massacre in 2015, where Naim Tafa was killed and three others were injured in a gunfight.

Meanwhile, police confirm today that the incident occurred due to property reasons.
