A stabbing occurred yesterday in the capital. Police announced that they have arrested the perpetrator, a 51-year-old man. The incident occurred on Dibra Street in Tirana, after a conflict over weak motives. It is learned that the injured 48-year-old is in hospital and is out of danger. 

"The services of Police Commissariat No. 4, in cooperation with the services of the "Eagle" Special Force, yesterday, after receiving the notification that on Dibra Street, a citizen had been injured with a cutting tool, immediately went to the scene, with the aim of arresting the perpetrator and clarifying the circumstances of the case.

As a result of rapid investigative and procedural actions, the suspected perpetrator, citizen RL, 51 years old, was identified, apprehended and placed in custody.

This citizen is suspected of having stabbed citizen MX, 48, during a conflict for weak motives. Citizen MX is in hospital, under the care of doctors, out of danger to his life. 

The knife suspected of being used for the injury was seized as material evidence.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
