Valon Lluka, former associate of businessman Behgjet Pacolli, has reacted after the latter's statements regarding the Vlora airport, where Lluka's name was directly accused by Pacolli.
In a public statement, Lluka says he feels obligated to clarify the opinion and protect his personal and professional integrity, describing Pacolli's reaction as "completely untrue and without any factual basis."
According to him, for every action related to the Vlora airport transactions, there are notarized documents with an international apostille, including shareholder resolutions and authorizations signed by Behgjet Pacolli himself and the company "Mabco Construction SA" headquartered in Lugano, as the legal owner of the shares.
Lluka announces that, due to statements that, according to him, damage his personal image and reputation, he has decided to file a lawsuit for defamation and damage to his image against Pacolli, attaching all relevant evidence and communications.
Full statement:
In relation to the recently published statements by Mr. Behgjet Pacolli regarding the Vlora International Airport and the direct mention of my name, I feel obliged to react publicly to clarify the opinion and to protect my personal and professional integrity.
Mr. Pacolli's statements are completely untrue and without any factual basis.
I regret that a person who was fully aware of every phase and every step of the relevant procedures, today chooses to make false statements, while for every action there are notarized documents and equipped with an international apostille, including shareholder resolutions and authorizations signed not only by Mr. Behgjet Pacolli himself, but also by Mabco Construction SA, Lugano, as the legal owner of the shares.
All these documents, along with the bank transfers between the parties involved in this transaction, have already been submitted to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office as official evidence and facts that prove the legality and complete transparency of my every action.
Under such circumstances, due to false statements and defamation that seriously damage my image and reputation, I have decided to file a lawsuit for damage to my image and defamation, attaching all relevant evidence, documents and communications that prove the opposite of any claim made publicly.
I remain committed to the truth, the law and institutions, convinced that justice will establish every fact and that public opinion will be informed of the full reality of this matter.
