The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime remands former Elbasan judge, Pajtime Fetahu, who is accused of being a suspect in the connections and favoritism of Suel Çela's group.
The former judge had filed another appeal against the security measure "prison arrest", issued by the first instance of the GJKKO, but today the Appeals Court decided to leave the decision in force.

The former magistrate is accused of having links to the Suel Çela gang. According to SPAK, the Suel Çela gang had managed to corrupt officials of the state police (Dedan Gjoni) and the judicial system (Pajtime Fetahu) who, using their official position, helped the organization with information, while also offering facilities and influence in the judicial system in exchange for favors and material benefits.
The criminal organization had the ability to influence and corrupt representatives of the justice system in order for the latter to facilitate the position of the leader Suel Çela and other members of the organization in the criminal proceedings against them.
What is noteworthy is the organization's ability to influence the judicial bodies in order to aggravate the position or the punishment that would be given to members of the criminal group who were considered their opponents.
