Part of the group that trafficked cocaine from Latin America to Europe, Eralbi Breçani is extradited from Spain

Eralbi Breçani, the son of former deputy director of Tirana Police, Erzen Breçani, accused by SPAK of involvement in international drug trafficking and a structured criminal group, has been extradited from Spain to Albania.

He was declared internationally wanted by the Special Court (GJKKO) at the request of the Special Prosecution Office, after the analysis of communications in encrypted applications that, according to investigations, are related to criminal activity.

According to the investigative file, Eralbi Breçani is suspected of trafficking narcotics in collaboration, within a structured criminal group, as well as laundering the proceeds of crime.

SPAK's investigations link him to international cocaine trafficking networks from Latin America to the main ports of Europe.

Upon arrival in Albania, he will face legal measures and the ongoing judicial process.
