Suffered cardiac arrest, detainee dies (NAME)

Only 18 days after being arrested on the charge of cultivating narcotics, a citizen lost his life in the detention facilities of IEPV, Jordan Misja, known as prison 313 in the capital.

The police announce that Hekuran Myrtaj died at 17:00 this Sunday as a result of a cardiac arrest that he suffered while he was in the airing area.

He was quickly sent to QSUT for medical help, but 60 minutes later the doctors announced that despite their intervention, Myrtaj did not make it.

"The detained citizen Hekuran Myrtaj, who was serving his sentence in the IEVP "Jordan Misja", died due to a cardiac arrest in QSUT. The detainee lost consciousness (fainted state) while staying in the ventilation area at 17:03. At 5:11 p.m., the security workers and nd/doctors at the IEVP immediately escorted him to the QSUT. At 17:58, after the intervention of doctors, Myrtaj passed away at the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital. Myrtaj was arrested on 17.07. 2024 for cultivation of narcotic plants. Competent bodies are dealing with clarifying the matter."
