An Albanian citizen was seriously injured last evening on the island of Paxos in Greece, after fighting with a compatriot, who has already been declared wanted.

The 51-year-old Albanian, whose name has not been disclosed, had met the author with whom he then had an argument, which forced the latter to pull out his pistol and shoot several times in his direction.

The injured was urgently sent to the hospital in serious condition, while the police surrounded the area and are looking for the perpetrator, who is thought to have entered the country from Italy, specifically to meet the 51-year-old.

The motives of the event are still unclear, but the investigators do not exclude the track of washing accounts for debts or that of revenge.
