Klodiana Lala has told a very funny episode with a customs policeman and drug traffickers who were processed in Fier and caught by the Albanian police in cooperation with the DEA. 

Lala said that a customs officer had asked for several bags of manure in exchange for favors for passing the manure, but he did not know that the manure was mixed with cocaine. The traffickers were worried that after using the mixed fertilizer, the olive trees would dry up for the police! 

"Viktor Cervanaku was not only a former mayor. He was a person who had worked for years in the State Police. He maintained very strong ties with police officials and the institutions of the country. Viktor Cervanaku, I say with complete certainty, the way was intercepted by the Special Prosecutor's Office, in this particular case the Albanian authorities were forced to intervene because the Montenegrin authorities were informed, the Greek authorities and the American DEA. The way he spoke on the phone testified to exceptional security and guarantees.

In one of the intercepts, he talks to a customs agent, asks him to hurry up and get the fertilizer documents ready, and proudly advertises the fertilizer and says the boy has brought good fertilizer. Then he would take his brother and tell him to listen, take care of your forehead, because it had rained before the Colombian chemist went. He had taken measures to store the narcotics with weapons. There were even cases where guns were fired to scare opponents.

It had gone so far that they intervened, one of the customs employees had asked for 4 bags of fertilizer as a reward. The moment he took the four bags of fertilizer, the suspected traffickers raised concerns and said it was good that he took it, the problem is that the olives will dry up because there was cocaine inside the fertilizer. That was the end of it. 

The other thing, which should be highlighted, is the fact that every time cocaine is caught in Albania, you have either customs officials, or tax officials, or police officials, or state officials. Cervanaku was a functionary who was trying to be recycled in politics. On the other hand, he had turned into a drug trafficker" , declared Lala in "TPZ".
