Meteorologist's warning: Starting tomorrow, "suffocating"

"We expect the temperature to be 39 degrees today, 40 tomorrow." This was the weather forecast from meteorologist Tanja Porja.

"40 degrees in Shkodër, Elbasan, Berat and Gjirokastër. Tirana, Durrës and Fier are expected to remain at 39 degrees. Then, on Friday it will start to gradually cool down. We expect that in certain areas, the minimum temperature will be 28-29 degrees," Porja told A2.

According to the meteorologist, "the difference of just 10 degrees between the minimum and maximum temperature is stifling."

"The body is unable to rest for at least an hour. Minimum temperatures will only normalize after Sunday," Porja emphasized.

"From Tuesday onwards, temperatures will decrease. From today until Friday we expect another 41 degrees Celsius. While from Tuesday the maximum will be 35-36. Meanwhile, at the end of July and the beginning of August we expect another heat wave in the Albanian territory", said Tanja Porja
