"Impunity is being hit", SPAK head: Reforms are important for the safe
Head of SPAK, Altin Dumani

The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, said at the conference to evaluate the work of the Independent Qualification Commission (KPK) and the Institution of Public Commissioners (IKP) at the end of their constitutional mandate that the justice reform has borne fruit.

According to him, impunity and the old mindset have been hit.

He also mentioned the challenges that have been associated with these processes, such as the heavy workload for prosecutors and issues that require quick solutions, including the administration of the Public Commissioner's cases and the transfer of unresolved cases to SPAK.

"It is a pleasure to share some references to some important processes that shaped the reform. For a stronger democracy to make the path to the EU safe. 7 years is not a short time, the reform was transformative, describing a comprehensive process with the sole purpose of bringing a professional justice system to the country, with integrity and everything to restore trust in the new justice institutions. 7 years is not a short time for a voluminous work. KPK, KPA do a job with their example, they laid the foundation stone of a new building, those selected today considered it a responsibility to be part of it.

SPAK is an independent institution and 20 prosecutors are in the scanning process. The walls of the new justice system were erected. Institutions will play a role in overthrowing the mentality. Impunity is being hit today. A priority from December 31 is the administration of Public Commissioners, all unfinished cases will be transferred to SPAK. It is expected that the director will have a very large commitment to representing these cases to the Independent Appeals Commission,” said, among other things, the head of SPAK.
