A bloody episode occurred between two Albanian customers of a café yesterday evening in Irakleo, Crete, where one attacked with a knife, seriously injuring the other.

The incident happened around 9 p.m. on Saturday night on Minoos Street in the Theriso area of Irakleo.

The perpetrator attacked the 35-year-old Albanian man by stabbing him in the abdomen and causing injuries to his spleen and liver.

The 35-year-old was knocked down in the street bleeding, while the perpetrator was taken away.

An EKAV ambulance has arrived at the scene, which has sent the injured man to hospital where he is still being treated and is in a serious condition.

According to information, the perpetrator and the victim are known to authorities and it is estimated that the cause of the bloody episode was to wash the drugs accounts.

The suspect has been identified and is being sought by police.
