The police of Elbasan have reacted in relation to the news that is circulating in the network where it is said that a police officer has punched a citizen inside the police station in Librazhd.

Through an official announcement, the Police informs that this news is untrue, while further clarifying the incident as it happened.

The uniforms say that this afternoon the operating room of the Librazhd Police Station was notified of a conflict.

Immediately, the Police services went to the given address, where they found the citizen KF who had called and the citizen Sh. D. who had a conflict with citizen FK

At the moment that the General Patrol would accompany the citizen Sh. D., 52 years old, a resident of Hotolisht, this citizen strongly opposed the Police officers, who requested reinforcements and then accompanied the citizen Sh. D.

Regarding a news published in the media, in which it is claimed that a police officer punched a citizen, in the premises of the Librazhd Police Station, we clarify the public opinion that the news is untrue.

On 27.12.2022, around 15:15, the operating room of the Librazhd Police Station was notified of a conflict.

Immediately, the Police services went to the given address, where they found the citizen KF who had called and the citizen Sh. D. who had a conflict with citizen FK

At the moment that the General Patrol would accompany the citizen Sh. D., 52 years old, a resident of Hotolisht, this citizen strongly opposed the Police officers, who requested reinforcements and then accompanied the citizen Sh. D.

In relation to this event, the procedural actions by the Judicial Police officer of the Prosecution at the Elbasan Judicial District Court are continuing.
