The father of three has been sentenced to 14 years in prison, while in the courtroom he apologized for the crime he committed, but said he was shocked when he discovered that his daughter had been sexually abused by him for 12 years.

In an interview for the show Albania Live on Top Channel today, Fatmir Tarellarin's cousin, Astrit Tare, was present in the courtroom.

He stated that Fatmir was sentenced to 14 years in prison for the act, while evidence revealed that his partner witnessed a rape scene 12 years ago by her brother against her stepdaughter and did not tell.

The author's relative has denied several reports in the Greek media that the minor had falsified the messages she showed her father as threats coming from the 33-year-old.

He said that the court did not state at any point that the rape and abuse did not occur, while as for the message, it is only about one that occurred 3 days before the event.

According to him, that message was negligible and was not taken into account by the justice system, and that the girl did not make a false statement regarding the rape that occurred to her for 12 years by her stepmother's brother.

"On the 9th I was in the courtroom in Larisa, and the next day the trial ended and my cousin was sentenced to 14 years. In no way was it stated that the girl was not raped and mistreated by that criminal.

The girl was raped, Fatmir made a mistake by killing her, and he received the punishment. If the girl and Fatmir had lied, he would have been sentenced to life in prison. He was sentenced in the first instance to 14 years, which means that there is another trial to follow.
