Another Albanian citizen ends up in police custody, thanks to close cooperation between Albanian and Italian authorities.

A 26-year-old man identified as Kristian Lulaj was declared internationally wanted for an attempted murder with a firearm in Velipojë, and was located and arrested in Italy with the aim of extradition to Albania.

The incident for which the young man is accused occurred a year ago in the village of Malikolaj, where he is suspected of attempting to kill the 27-year-old, for weak motives.

According to the decision of the Shkodra Court, the security measure "Arrest in prison" has been imposed on him, for the criminal offenses: "Intentional murder, attempted murder" and illegal possession of weapons and ammunition.

Following the cooperation with Italian counterparts, for the localization, capture and extradition of internationally wanted citizens, based on the information exchanged between the parties, the citizen was located in Italy, captured and arrested:

KL, 26 years old.

This citizen was declared an international wanted person after the Shkodra Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offenses of "Intentional Murder", attempted murder and "Unauthorized Possession and Production of Weapons, Explosive Weapons and Ammunition".

This citizen is accused of attempting to kill citizen EP, 27 years old, with a firearm in the village of Malikolaj, Velipojë, for weak motives.

Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome will carry out the procedures for the extradition of this citizen to Albania.
