A 70-year-old tourist died of cardiac arrest in Butrint.

Yvone Boer, 70 years old from the Netherlands, was with a group of Dutch tourists this morning for a visit to Butrint Antik.

When they went up to the Castle, it didn't feel good there.

The ambulance was immediately notified, where initially due to speed, it was sent to the Ksamil ambulance to the emergency room in Saranda.

According to the white t-shirts, the 70-year-old foreigner is suspected to have had a cardiac arrest, and as a result has lost her life.

The dead body will be transported to Tirana for forensic examination.

At the peak of the season, Ancient Butrint is now visited by about 900 foreign and local tourists per day.
