A noisy night for Theth

Despite the late hours, the night is quiet for Theth.

The demolition of unauthorized entities will continue throughout the night.

IKMT forces have opened four fronts where they are demolishing the buildings. The action will continue throughout the night and continue tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the map of buildings to be demolished is growing. Initially, there was talk of 40, but now this number has increased to 120 buildings that will be razed.

Some of the structures are demountable, but structures built of stone and concrete have been placed high up in the mountains.

Nine police vans from the Rapid Intervention Forces and the Eagles have been deployed in Theth.

The blue uniforms' movement comes after the serious incident at noon where a Molotov cocktail was thrown.

Fortunately, there were no injuries or material damage from the incident.

The Metropolitan Archbishopric of Shkodër-Pult has also reacted to the event, expressing its "concern about what is happening."

It calls on all parties to remain calm, engage in dialogue and respect life.

“We firmly condemn all forms of violence, from whatever side it comes. We stand with all people of good will, with those who work with honesty, sacrifice and dignity, often in suffering and in silence. Respect for law and justice is an essential duty for everyone. We believe that it is fundamental to protect the environment, a precious gift from God, but at the same time, it is also necessary to protect those who, with hard work and dedication, try to live honestly and build a better future for themselves and their children ,” Archbishop Giovanni Peragine said in a statement.
