Ariel Rraja, the nephew of former socialist MP Rrahman Rraja and the son of Flamur Rraja, has been arrested by Kruja police.

Ariel Rraja was arrested yesterday and was wanted along with his father for the violent altercation with Kujtim Cacë and his son that occurred in October 2024, a conflict that started over a channel.


Ariel Rraja, 24, the nephew of Rrahman Rraja, was arrested on Wednesday evening during an anti-drug operation that the Tirana Police conducted in the village of Luz in Fushë Krujë.

Ariel Rraja was wanted along with his father for the violent altercation with Kujtim Cacë and his son.

The police had information about two people who were transporting narcotics and went to arrest Kujtim Ukaj and Abdurrahman Rizvani, who were caught with 60 kg of cannabis.

But the police operation has met with opposition from Flamur Rrahja and Ermal Tufa, as they have claimed that the police should not interfere in 'their area'. The police officers have also spotted Ariel Rrahja there and have arrested him, again meeting with opposition from Flamur Rrahja who has already been processed at large for opposing police officers along with Ermal Tufa.
