According to Aliaj, a government that does not protect the interests of young people cannot represent their future.

The artist said that power is concentrated in the hands of a single person, Prime Minister Edi Rama, while ministers do not appear to defend their responsibilities.

Aliaj criticized Rama's communication with the protesters, saying: "The Prime Minister should not speak on TikTok and bully people or label protesters."

It is doubly meaningful to me, because in 2018 Gala and I were in the student protest and we fought and supported with all our hearts. We did not succeed. We did not succeed with the students, because they destroyed us with all the infiltrations, with interests and with problems that are still emerging today. History is repeating itself, but it should not be repeated, it should end here.

I call on all public or private institutions, especially those public ones that have a responsibility for the task they have, from universities, academia, to come here and express themselves, all in turn. We cannot allow a leader who speaks on behalf of the representatives of the state. There are no ministers here, but a man who speaks for everyone. This is not democracy. I also call on the representatives of the state, the people elected by you, these ministers who have no, let me say, no legs, no guts, to come out and defend not only the office they have taken, but also their personal dignity.

If I were a minister, a prime minister wouldn't give a shit about speaking in my country. This wouldn't happen. Because this is a very bad precedent for the Socialist Party, which is being converted into the Labor Party, worshipping a leader who ignores you to the point of not giving you the floor for the task you have. It is an obligation today to come out and speak.
