Elena Muhaxhiri was sentenced earlier to 17 months in prison in 2013, but this time for fraud in Kosovo, together with 3 other women, whom the judicial authorities there sentenced to a total of 8 years. After serving 17 months in prison in Kosovo, Elena Muhaxhiri started playing the same scheme again.

At the beginning of 2016, in the company of her husband and the latter's sister-in-law, they took 500 euros, pendants and gold earrings from a woman in the city of Kukës.

After they tricked her into fortune-telling, in a hypnotized state, the woman gave them money and valuables, which they took and quickly left. For this case, only the husband of the fraud received punishment.

The 43-year-old woman asked for money and valuables from citizens who believed that she would tell them about the future and show them the way to success.
