A serious case of domestic violence occurred in the city of Korça.

55-year-old Diana Mulla was raped by her husband, Fatos Mulla, who threw her down the stairs of the private house, causing her right leg to break.

The event happened 6 days ago, as it became public only today when the 55-year-old woman went to receive treatment at the hospital.

The husband is known to have kept her in the apartment with a broken leg until yesterday. The 55-year-old woman confessed to the doctors about the violence against her.

It is reported that she suffers from health problems, having suffered paralysis earlier, but she also suffers from her heart. Her husband had been abusing her for a long time, but she did not dare to denounce him because of fear.

The report was made to the police this Thursday by the 55-year-old, while her husband Fatos Mulla was accompanied to the police station to give his statement and face the criminal offense that will be determined by the ready prosecutor.

The reason for the postponement is a banal motive, a glass of sicc oil is said by the victim. Throughout these days, her husband has not allowed her to contact her family, while it is known that the couple's only daughter has been living in Italy for years.
