The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania confirms that so far there is no information about Albanians among the victims or injured from the tragic accident in Greece.

This confirmation comes from the media adviser in this ministry.

"In the capacity of Media Adviser, I inform you that the Minister is in constant communication with our embassy in Athens and the Consulate General in Thessaloniki regarding the accident.

Until now, there is still no information about Albanian citizens among the victims or the injured, while representatives of the Consulate in Thessaloniki are on the scene", the regime says.

The highest representatives of the country, President Begaj and Prime Minister Rama have shared messages of condolence for the neighboring country.

They said that Albania stands by the Greek people at this difficult moment, while the Greek authorities have announced three days of national mourning in honor of the victims.
