Anti-drug mega-operation across the country, over 200 arrest warrants issued

Another nationwide operation has been developed in the framework of the war against narcotics. The greatest weight is once again carried by the Anti-Drug Unit of the Tirana Police. According to the information so far, there are nearly 100 people arrested in the capital alone, while in the country there are more than 150 people in total.

This is the continuation of the operation 'Temple'. The distribution of narcotics took place near schools, nightclubs and other public places. Meanwhile, in the city of Vlora, it is reported that there are 35 arrested, while cocaine divided into doses, ready for sale, was also seized.

Anti-drugs has long started investigations to crack down on some criminal groups that are involved in the sale and trafficking of hard and light drugs. The police have not yet issued an official statement on this operation.
