With high risk, the Belgian citizen is arrested in Rinas

Another person of high social risk, declared internationally wanted, was handcuffed by the structures of the State Police.

The Border Police Services of Rinas, as a result of increased controls, verification of travel documents and exchange of information with Interpol Tirana, put in handcuffs, for the purpose of extradition, the internationally wanted Belgian citizen, AK, 20 years old, resident in Belgium.

'This citizen was declared internationally wanted by Interpol Malta, after the Malta Magistrates' Court issued an arrest warrant for the criminal offences "Intentional grievous bodily harm", "Conspiracy to commit a criminal offence", "Theft", "Possession, distribution or production of pornographic material involving minors" and "Failure to comply with the conditions set by the Court for conditional release", provided for by Malta's criminal legislation', the police announcement states.

Interpol Tirana will carry out the procedures for the extradition of this citizen to Malta.
