" I'm sorry for disturbing you ," these were the last words of the 51-year-old who lost his life yesterday evening in the accident that occurred in Fushë Arrëz.

The road maintenance worker was returning to his apartment when, while driving in a place called Shkëmbi i Dardhës, his vehicle went off the road, ending up in an abyss.

Upon hearing the sound of the vehicle falling, residents of the area began searching the area. 

Prendush Uka was a father of three and worked as a road maintenance worker in the area. He was a resident of the village of Mëzi in Puka.

Police announcement:

At around 10:00 PM, the injured person was found with signs of life, and it is reported that when the residents arrived, he apologized for disturbing them at that time of the evening.

Despite the help of residents, Prendush Kola died as a result of his multiple injuries. In addition to residents of the area, firefighters from Fushë Arrëz also worked to remove the body, and they removed the body around 01:00, while the vehicle has not yet been found.

The Fushë Arrëz - Fierzë road segment, although a national road, is the only axis in Albania with a single crossing, while it extends its entire length over steep terrain.
