A 42-year-old man reported to the Shkodra Police that the vehicle he was traveling in was shot with a firearm, but that he himself had not suffered any injuries. The incident took place on the road axis Shkodër-Vau i Deja, near the village of Vukatane.

Citizen Armand Babaj was traveling in a "Toyota" type vehicle that he had rented to his apartment in the village of Mjedë when he claims to have been shot. As a result of the shooting, the vehicle sustained minor material damage.

"Around 02:00, the AB citizen, 42 years old, resident of the village of Mjedë, informed the operating room that on the road axis Shkodër-Vau i Dejës, on the road of the village of Vukatane, Shkodër, a gun was fired in the direction of a vehicle 'Toyota', which he had rented, causing only minor material damage. The investigative team was immediately set up and under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Shkodra Judicial District Court, the work continues to clarify the circumstances of the event, identify and capture the author/s", clarified the Shkodra Police.



It is learned that the 42-year-old had only returned from Great Britain two months ago. It is not yet known if the event is staged by the 42-year-old in order to obtain documents in the English state with the claim that his life is in danger in Albania.

If it is proven that the event was staged, the 42-year-old risks handcuffs. It is learned that the 42-year-old does not turn out to be a person with problems, so an assassination attempt could be organized against him.
