One of the perpetrators who deceive the owner of a foreign exchange point in Shkodra, who received 140,000 euros, was arrested in Turkey.

Upon identification, the three perpetrators were found to be Georgian, while in co-operation with Turkish police it was possible to arrest one of them.

The 40-year-old man with the initials K.J. was deported to Rinas on Monday. At the moment of capture at Istanbul airport, Turkish police, during the physical search, found them with them a sum of 7500 euros.

On 09.08.2024, around 18:00, in Zdrale Square, Shkodra, these citizens, through fraud, took from the owner of a foreign exchange point, citizens E.I., amount of 140 000 euros and then immediately left Albania.

In the following actions, the other two suspected perpetrators, Georgian citizens G.T., 45, and B.T., 36, were sought for the criminal offenses "Fraud" committed in cooperation.
