Tirana DVP/The police operation codenamed "Wrong call" is finalized.

An environment adapted as a call center was discovered in Selitë, where foreign citizens were deceived, through phone calls, into investing in fictitious stock exchanges.

During the Police intervention in this environment, 5 citizens were caught red-handed carrying out this illegal activity.

3 of them (the manager and 2 employees) are arrested, and 2 employees are criminally prosecuted.

Two citizens who had rented the premises for this purpose have been identified and are wanted.

Computer equipment, mobile phones and other material evidence are seized.

Specialists of the Economic and Financial Crimes Section, as a result of the rapid administration of information obtained through operational channels, have finalized the police operation codenamed "Wrong call".

During the operation, the Police services intervened in an environment in Selita, which had been adapted as a call center. In this environment, citizen KS, suspected of being the manager of this activity, and 4 employees, who were deceiving foreign citizens, to invest in fictitious stock exchanges, were caught red-handed.

Investigations suspect that the premises were rented by citizens ES and AK with the intention of using them for this illegal activity.

Following the procedural actions:
- citizen KS, 25 years old, was arrested in flagrante delicto;
- citizens FK, 24 years old and EA, 25 years old, employees, were arrested;
- criminal proceedings were initiated against citizens E. Sh., 22 years old and EZ, 19 years old, employees;
- citizens ES, 34 years old (brother of K. S) and AK, 35 years old, were declared wanted. Work is underway to capture them.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
