"I have a cousin named Nuredin Duman", the "Luna" fraud scheme continues, hiring them in a furniture store and not paying them their salaries

Fiks Fare continued to denounce the actions of the couple Elton and Alejda Dumani, who, after deceiving several people by saying they would provide them with visas and work contracts in European countries, have also deceived several other people, hiring them in a furniture store, without giving them any salary.

Several people complained to the editorial office of the show "Fiks Fare", two of whom also reported that they worked at the "Luna" furniture store in the Farka area of ??Tirana and did not receive their payment. One of the complainants is from Egypt and worked under contract at Alejda Gjoni's (Dumani) company.

These denunciations come after a few months ago, Fiksi broadcast another case of fraud from the same family, where Alejda's husband deceived several people from an employment agency. Elton Dumani took money for work visas and when he did not return the money, he threatened citizens by saying that he was the cousin of Nuredin Dumani (arrested by SPAK for murder). Elton even told one of the denunciators during a meeting that "I will kill those Fiksi journalists" who were dealing with the case.

Meanwhile, the latest complainants worked as furniture and upholstery workers. They say they saw on social media that a job was being sought and went. They met Elton Dumani himself, his wife Alejda Gjoni and Alejda's father, Arben Gjoni. They worked from April 2025 to July 2025, but were not paid.

"They deceived us. We worked and they told us they would get them now and then. Just lies. We learned that they had problems, Elton is being investigated under house arrest for something else. We also went to Alejda's father's apartment and her father promised us that they would get them. But they never gave them to us," they say.

One of the complainants told Fiksi that they had been threatened. "I called Alejda and she told me, 'Do you know who my husband, Nuredin Duman, is related to?' I don't want any problems, just my salary.

Fiksi also spoke with the 23-year-old from Egypt, who came to work in Albania. "Elton Dumani told me that he would give me 1000 euros a month. I would work 8 hours in the morning and 4 in the afternoon. He lied to me. I worked 8 hours in the morning and most days I finished work at 12 o'clock at night or 2 o'clock in the morning. On some occasions he would take me to Durrës and Vlora to assemble furniture for clients. Then, we would return to Tirana in the morning," he says.

He further claims that Elton had promised to find him a house. "I stayed in an apartment that he found for me in the 'Ali Demi' neighborhood. After 3 months, the owner of the house knocked on my door and told me that your boss hasn't paid the rent. Now take your bags and get out of the apartment. I called Elton and he sent us to a hotel. After a few weeks, the hotel owner told me that your boss hasn't paid for the hotel room. Take your bags and get out," he claims.

According to him, Elton only gave him one payment, when the 3-year-old traveled to his homeland, Egypt. "After 2 months, my father had an accident in Egypt. I asked Elton to make the payments for me. After 5 days, he sent me 400 euros. What would I do with 400 euros in Egypt? My family depended on me. I came here to Albania only for the money, not to cheat or do anything else," he concluded.

The complainants claim that there were about 15 people in that furniture store who worked and did not receive their salaries. They have contacted the Labor Inspectorate and the Police in Farka. "They have not taken any action either. We do not know who is protecting them. We call them and they threaten us. We want the money, we have problems," they say.

One of the informants calls Alejda's father. He tells him to talk to Elton because he has the money. The employee tells him that he has spoken and nothing. "Go talk to him, I have nothing to do with it. I really told you to work, but they have the furniture," he tells him. The citizen goes to the Farka Police. A judicial police officer tells him that "the materials are at the prosecutor's office and the case has been referred to Elton and Alejda."

Then, the citizen calls the inspector of the Labor Inspectorate. The employee tells him that he has done an inspection and that he has written down all the claims. “Come on Monday and get the document. There are some of you who have not received your salaries. I have written them all down,” the Inspector tells him.

Fiksi calls Elton Duman, who tells him that the furniture shop belongs to his wife. He claims that there have been some problems with the liquidation but you need to talk to Alejda.

Fiks Fare contacted Alejda Gjoni, the registered owner of the furniture store. Initially, she said she would explain the whole situation, but later sent us a message; the Police and the Labor Inspectorate are dealing with the matter and let them follow the case and decide justice.

Fiksi asked her why the payments were not made, why they were not included in the insurance scheme, as she writes that “it has nothing to do with what the complainants said, because they filed a false report with the Police and Inspectorates.” In the end, she refused to give an interview!
