A 42-year-old Turkish man declared internationally wanted has fallen into the hands of the police, it is reported that Salih Akkurt, a 42-year-old resident of Konya, Turkey, has been arrested.

To disguise himself, this citizen deceived the citizens by practicing the profession of physiotherapist. During the physical control of this citizen, the Police services found and seized checks in large monetary amounts.

The police operation codenamed "Pojska" is finalized.

The operation, by Fast Albania, in cooperation with the Pogradec Police Commissariat and Interpol Tirana.

A Turkish citizen, wanted by Turkish justice, sentenced to 21 years in prison and removed from the place of serving his sentence, is arrested and handcuffed in Pogradec. This citizen has 10 years of imprisonment left to serve.

42-year-old man from Konya, Turkey, convicted of the criminal offense of "Aggravated fraud, using bank and credit card information systems", and recently declared wanted for the criminal offense of "Leaving the place of serving the sentence" ", Was hiding in Pogradec. To disguise himself, this citizen deceived the citizens by practicing the profession of physiotherapist.

Fast Albania services, after receiving information that a citizen, highly wanted by Turkey was hiding in Pogradec, organized the work and after several days of control, in cooperation with the Pogradec Police Commissariat and Interpol Tirana, finalized the police operation codenamed "Pojska" .

As a result of this operation, on the promenade "10 Martyrs of Pojska", a Turkish citizen was caught and handcuffed for extradition:

- Salih Akkurt , 42 years old, resident in Konya, Turkey.

Ky shtetas ishte në kërkim ndërkombëtar pasi Zyra Qëndrore Kombëtare e Interpol Tiranës është njoftuar nga Interpol Ankara, Turqi, se për këtë shtetas, më datë 05.05.2022, është lëshuar urdhër arresti nga Prokuroria e Izmirit, Turqi, në zbatim të vendimit nr. 2020/8992, të datës 30.12.2020, në bazë të të cilit, 42 vjeçari është dënuar me 21 vite, 10 muaj e 15 ditë burgim, nga të cilat i kanë mbetur për të vuajtur edhe 10 vite e 1 ditë burgim, për veprat penale “Mashtrimi i rëndë duke përdorur sistemet informative, të bankave dhe kartave te kredit” dhe “Largimi nga vendi i vuajtjes së dënimit”, të parashikuara nga legjislacioni turk.
