The Elbasan Prosecutor's Office has summoned the PD MP, Gazment Bardhi for questioning regarding the murder of the socialist activist Pjerin Xhuvani in the "5 Maji" neighborhood 4 days before the April 25 elections.

The pair of prosecutors Ritvan Sukaj and Platin Alicka have expanded the investigation and the circle of persons who are suspected of ordering the bodyguards or pushing them towards the execution of Pjerin Xhuvani on April 21, 2021.

The serious crime came after a debate on the allegations made by the PD "vote protection" group, for some identity cards, which the Elbasan Prosecutor's Office and investigations show did not exist. In the suspected vehicle were found only the list of patronage officers that the prosecution has seized as material evidence.

The former RENEA member Arbër Paplekaj, suspected as the perpetrator of the murder, is behind bars for the murder of Pjerin Xhuvani.
